NicheScene ("we", "us") operates nichescene.com, a social, creator and collaboration platform. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

  • Account data: email address, display name, profile photo and profile details you choose to add.
  • Content you create: posts, comments, marketplace listings, workspace documents and studio projects you save.
  • Private messages and collaboration chat: end-to-end encrypted on your device. We store only ciphertext and cannot read it.
  • Usage data: views, likes, comments and similar activity on NicheScene, used to show you your own analytics.
  • Payments: wallet top-ups are processed by Flutterwave. We never receive or store your card number.

2. Connected social accounts (TikTok and others)

You can optionally connect TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X or LinkedIn. Each connection uses that platform's own consent screen, and you can disconnect at any time.

For TikTok we request only:

  • user.info.basic — your TikTok open ID, display name, username and avatar, used to show which TikTok account is connected.
  • video.publish — used only when you choose to publish a video you created in NicheScene to your TikTok profile. Nothing is posted without your explicit confirmation of each post.

Access tokens are encrypted on our servers (AES-GCM) and are never sent to your browser or shared with anyone. We do not sell TikTok data, use it for advertising, or access your TikTok followers, messages or private videos.

3. How we use information

  • To provide NicheScene features you ask for: posting, messaging, marketplace, analytics, studio, workspace and games.
  • To publish content to connected platforms when you request it.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to run NicheScene (hosting, payment processing), with the platforms you connect when you ask us to publish, or when required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

Disconnecting a social account deletes its stored tokens immediately. If you revoke NicheScene's access from within TikTok, we receive a notification and delete your TikTok tokens automatically. You can delete your NicheScene account and content at any time from your profile; data is removed from active systems within 30 days.

6. Security

Encryption keys for private messages stay on your device. Connected-account tokens are encrypted at rest and accessible only to our servers.

7. Children

NicheScene is not intended for anyone under 13 (or the minimum age in your country).

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your information, and withdraw consent for connected accounts at any time.
